Summary

This position is a valuable part of the disassembly team. The individual will support with component segregation, mutilation of components, forklift and craning operations and stock control. The individual needs to be able to work alone and pro-actively as part of a team and carry out all relevant tasks and ensure all work is completed on time and in full.


Main responsibilities

  • To support the delivery of our customers projects through component mutilation by removing part/serial numbers from aircraft components following project completion in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and in alignment of AFRA accreditati
  • Ensure all packaging materials are well stocked within work area each day to optimise productivity.
  • To query with the Customer Gearbox parts for confinement in Quarantine Area against Customer List.
  • To dispose of signed off quarantine items in alignment of AFRA accreditation requirements within the demolition compound.
  • To report any non-conformance issues, delays, or other issues to the Customer Gearbox.
  • To support with the movement of components between buildings.
  • To support with crane operations airside and land side.
  • To actively support the continuous improvement projects within the business to help improve quality, productivity, etc.
  • Understand and apply the site Safety, Environmental Policy, Safety Management System, and relevant legal Safety & Environmental requirements and take reasonable care for their own safety and that of other people.
  • Any other duties associated with, or different from those specified above at the request of the Senior Management, or to meet the needs of the business demands.
