Purpose of role

This position is part of our Plane Reclaimers team and will require you to oversee inventory, organise and maintain existing stock and log new items for sale on the company website. You will also be responsible for engaging with customer enquiries via platforms such as, Freshdesk, HubSpot, Instagram and Facebook. Responding in a professional and timely manner. This role offers great opportunities for progression within the company, with potential for new challenges and responsibility. Employees will be assessed for their competency as they develop in the position – either at the interim and annual review points or an additional review can be arranged with the agreement o their manager. Success in this role can enable the candidate to move to new positions within ecube such as Customer Management, Planning, Upcycling and Logistics.

Main responsibilities

  • To support the sale of products to our customers by accurately entering and maintaining critical data, such as part listings of aircraft materials and upcycled items onto our website database
  • Respond to customer enquiries from various platforms: Freshdesk, HubSpot, Instagram, Facebook, in a timely manner, converting potential leads into sales
  • To carefully handle each component and take clear photographs to upload on the database
  • Learning to identify potential material for upcycling projects
  • Liaising with the media and marketing team to promote product listings
  • Ensure all necessary materials are well stocked within store area each day to optimise efficiency and productivity
  • Respond to customer enquiries/complaints professionally, escalating any concerns to your line manager
  • Organise stock using SKU numbers, to optimise efficiency for the shipping team
  • Effective communication with team members and other departments
  • To manage own workload to meet department deadlines and KPIs
  • Understand and apply the site Safety, Environmental Policy, Safety Management System, and relevant legal Safety & Environmental requirements and take reasonable care for their own safety and that of other people
  • Be involved with and support any continuous improvement projects within the department
  • Any other duties associated with, or different from those specified above at the request of the Senior Management, or to meet the needs of the business

Salary and Benefits

  • £22,950 per annum, 25 days annual leave per annum, plus Bank Holidays, company pension scheme, annual bonus, free on-site parking & company gym
