Summary

To provide leadership and management for the performance and service of all the disassembly Project Team, ensuring an effective and efficient service is provided. Key responsibilities: Customer Satisfaction | On-time delivery of all customer commitments to cost and to schedule | Leadership and Continuous Improvement across the Customer Projects department and beyond | Project Management and Scheduling, (driving the planning and delivery of work scope projects on the removal, logging, packing and delivery of aircraft parts, safe and efficient use of re-sources to meet cost targets and KPI’s) | Health and Safety | Communication at all levels.


Main responsibilities

  • To manage and deliver each aircraft disassembly project to the committed turn time – all components removed, logged, and packed. Components for crating will be securely transported to the agreed staging area.
  • To supervise, manage and direct the project team to include technical members, loggers and packers to ensure they are aligned with project goals and ensure efficient delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • To work closely with the other Managers and Global Planning & Control Department (GPC) to deliver the best customer experience for all ecube Customers, balanced by the recognition of the need to be efficient across our working practices.
  • To support the daily reviews, Project Boards and input into disassembly reports and other customer communications as requested by the GPC Department.
  • To respond to all technical and project queries across the team, seeking quick problem resolution and competent decision making. To escalate items that cannot be answered within the team to the GPC and/or the General Manager.
  • To remove all components with care, in accordance with ecube best practice to avoid component damage. Where the risk of damage is present due to corrosion or other factors, to raise with GPC for further review and potentially for discussion with the Custo
  • To highlight to the GPC components that might suffer damage from removal in the usual manner due to their condition of the condition of associated components/parts.
  • To ensure the safe disassembly/removal of all components from various aircrafts and that these are clearly labelled/documented in accordance with the requirements of the customer contract.
  • Ability to identify damaged components by visual methods.
  • To read and interpret AMMs & IPCs such that component removal can be managed as efficiently and effectively as possible and errors can be avoided.
  • To work with various tools and equipment and ensure all items are well maintained and in good state of repair at all times.
  • To actively support the continuous improvement projects within the business to help improve quality, productivity, etc. To identify issues and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • To promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to ensure all duties are performed within established safety guidelines.
  • To report any technical issues, delays or other issues to the Head of Production/GPC.
  • Supporting the delivery of KPIs across safety, quality and delivery to maintain operational growth.
  • Ensure all contract reviews are fully supported and the relevant control and sign off certification are recorded and in place in line with Company policy & procedures.
  • Work in conjunction with other functional teams, ensuring that the resources required to support the projects are in place.
  • Any other duties associated with, or different from those specified above at the request of the Senior Management, or to meet the needs of the business demands.

Skills/experience

  • Demonstrable experience in aircraft maintenance or disassembly projects

  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results
  • Good verbal and written language skills in Spanish and English
