ecube Announces Leadership Transition: Pete Allwood Appointed Interim CEO

St. Athan, Wales, 19 June 2026 – ecube announced that it is undergoing a transition in its executive management team, effective immediately. Lee McConnellogue, CEO, and Simon Nolan, COO, will be stepping down from their roles. Pete Allwood, currently Senior Vice President EMEA at Unical Aviation, will assume the role of interim CEO to guide the business through its next phase of integration.

The entire ecube team extends its sincere gratitude to Lee and Simon for their leadership, dedication, and the significant contributions they have made to the company’s success.

This transition supports ecube’s integration into the Satair, Unical, and VAS ecosystem. We are industrialising the USM lifecycle to provide a seamless "one-stop shop" for our customers—from aircraft disassembly and storage to repair management and global parts distribution. Harmonising our leadership and operations ensures we are creating a truly connected experience worldwide.

Pete Allwood brings nearly 20 years of extensive aviation experience to this interim role, with a deep specialisation in aircraft disassembly, component harvesting, USM management, programs and global supply chain solutions.

"Our goal is to deliver a simplified, powerful flow of material for our customers," he said. "I look forward to working with the talented teams across all our entities to ensure that we are moving in the same direction, leveraging our combined strengths to provide unmatched value in the aircraft lifecycle market."
