ecube Appoints Teddy Verdon as Managing Director to advance Satair’s Aircraft End of Life Facilitation

ST ATHAN, UK, 1 November — ecube, a global leader in aircraft dismantling and lifecycle services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Teddy Verdon as Managing Director, effective 1 November 2026.

An accomplished senior aviation executive, Teddy brings extensive international experience across aircraft maintenance, disassembly, and end-of-life asset management. He has a proven track record of scaling global operations across Europe, Africa, and Asia, alongside securing critical regulatory approvals, including EASA and CAAC Part-145 certifications, as well as AFRA accreditation.

In his new role, Teddy will oversee ecube's strategic direction and operational execution across its global sites, reporting directly to Tommy Hughes, CCO of Satair. Following ecube’s acquisition by Satair, a central focus of Teddy's mandate will be accelerating its dismantling capabilities - a key pillar in expanding Satair’s circular economy strategy and delivering certified, high-value components back into the global aviation supply chain.

"Teddy’s deep technical expertise and track record in operational scaling make him the ideal leader for ecube’s next chapter," said Tommy Hughes, CCO of Satair. "His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to optimize our dismantling processes, advancing Satair’s global Used Serviceable Material offering and extracting maximum value from end-of-life aircraft for our airline and MRO customers worldwide."

Teddy succeeds Pete Allwood, who served as interim Managing Director during the leadership transition. Pete will transition to a new role within the group, to be announced in due course.
